The 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival took off today. It will conclude on May 25. The festival is going to witness a glamorous presence this time.
Actress Kiara Advani has been chosen by organizers to represent Indian cinema at the festival. She has been welcomed by the Red Sea Film Foundation’s Women in Cinema to participate in a dinner to be graced by film celebs from different parts of the world.
The actress may not be going strong on the cinema front but she will now get to represent Indian cinema.
This year is crucial for her career down South. She is doing 'Game Changer', which stars Mega Power Star Ram Charan as the hero. The Cannes appearance has nothing to do with Kiara doing the pan-Indian movie. She won't be using the platform to promote 'Game Changer'. However, international media is going to talk about the movie in a passing manner while referring to her filmography.
