Sri Durga Arts, which is bankrolling the Mahesh Babu-Rajamouli project, has busted a piece of fake news pertaining to the international project. The other day, a national media house reported that sought-after casting director Viren Swami (based in Mumbai) has been roped in by the 'RRR' director to take care of the casting formalities.
In a statement today, the banner categorically refuted the news, saying that there is no truth in the report. It also added that any official communication regarding the movie will be made by the production house, which is based in Hyderabad.
In a recent interview, producer S Gopal Reddy said that none else besides Rajamouli has any idea about the film's casting and crew details. "I am aware of the story of the film and it is amazing. I am in touch with Vijayendra Prasad garu. It is true that pre-production works are ongoing on the Aluminium Factory premises in Hyderabad. Beyond that, I have no idea when the film will be launched, by when the shoot will be over, and when it will hit the screens," he added.
