It is known that the Telugu Film Directors’ Association (TFDA) is planning to hold Director’s Day on May 19 at LB Stadium in Hyderabad. The event will reportedly see the presence of Megastar Chiranjeevi, 'Kalki 2898 AD' star Prabhas, and 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' sensation Allu Arjun, among others.
A group of filmmakers on Friday evening called on Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to invite him to the event. Star director Ram Gopal Varma, Anil Ravipudi, and 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' maker Harish Shankar were present on the occasion.
The event will be celebrated in a grand manner. The original plan was to hold it on May 4. It got postponed, like everything that happens in the Telugu industry. The organizers are hoping that there won't be a downpour in the city this Sunday. The speakers are expected to make a request or two to the government in the presence of Revanth Reddy.
