The recent rave party at Bengaluru has acquired prominence in the context of the alleged presence of some movie celebs. One of them is Telugu actress Hema, who is known for light-veined roles in movies like 'Julayi' and 'Nuvvu Naku Nacchav'. Although Hema on Monday denied that she was there at the rave party, Bangalore Police commissioner Dayanand on Tuesday confirmed that she was very much one of the 100 attendees.
News reports say that the controversial party was a high-profile, high-stakes and expensive one where cocaine and ganja was seized. The entry fee for 100 attendees was Rs 50 lakh.
Actor Srikanth's name was dragged into the mess by the media. It later turned out that Srikanth was not there at the party. A Telugu news channel has since apologized to Srikanth for mentioning his name in its bulletin.
