It is known that Tamil actor Jayam Ravi and his estranged wife Aarti Ravi announced their divorce recently. Days after Ravi announced the divorce publicly, Aarti claimed that it was his unilateral decision.
In his latest interview, Ravi claimed that Aarti and her family were completely aware of the developments. As per the 'Ponniyin Selvan' actor, Aarti's family members were kept in the loop about the friction and separation-related discussions. Two lawyer notices sent to Aarti remained unanswered.
After a point, Ravi said, he started feeling "extreme suffocation".
Aarti allegedly believes that Ravi has been in a secret relationship with a singer-cum-psychologist named Kenishaa. The actor, on his part, said that there is nothing between them and that the woman in question is self-made. "Kenishaa is someone who has come up on her own. She has done over 600 stage shows. She has saved so many lives. She is a healer, and a licensed psychologist," he added.
Ravi reportedly left everything (property, etc) for Aarti and their children. He is currently living in Mumbai.
