The makers of 'Kalki 2898 AD' today announced that their epic sci-fi dystopian drama will be screened at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival. "Catch the EPIC BLOCKBUSTER on October 8th & 9th (sic)," Vyjayanthi Movies said.
Swapna Dutt recently stated that 'Kalki 2' will be released in theatres in 2028. The film, to be directed by Nag Ashwin, will commence its shoot in early 2025.
'Kalki', which hit the cinemas in June, cemented Prabhas' pan-Indian iconic status. Prabhas is also doing 'The Raja Saab', Hanu Raghavapudi's 'Fauji' and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Spirit'. The first of these, directed by Maruthi, will hit the cinemas on April 10, 2025. As for Nag Ashwin, he is associated with AVM Studios on a project nicknamed as 'Project S'.
