The 'Devara' juggernaut is unstoppable. The Jr NTR-starrer grossed Rs 172 crores on its Day 1 (last Friday) at the box office. Maintaining the momentum, it grossed big figures on Day 2 and Day 3 as well.
In the first weekend, the Koratala Siva directorial grossed Rs 304 crores across all languages. Thanks to the Telugu and Hindi markets, it has already recovered 80% of its pre-release theatrical business.
"After a sensational start on its release date, the film didn't slow down and continued the same storm in theatres. On Day 4, the film is running with packed houses and evening shows are filling fast," NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts said in a statement.
'Devara', with Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Janhvi Kapoor and others, is maintaining a steady momentum in the Hindi market. The Hindi version of the film had a strong first week at the box office in India, earning Rs 7.95 crore on Friday, Rs 9.50 crore on Saturday, and Rs 12.07 crore on Sunday. This brought the total weekend collection to Rs 29.52 crore (Nett Box Office Collection) in Hindi.
