The film ‘Baba Satyasai’ was launched on Friday at Puttaparthy in Anantapur district. The launching event started off with director Kodi Ramakrishna’s special pooja in Shiavalayam village where Baba was born. This was followed by the muhurat shot in Sattemma temple, Baba’s favourite God. State Minister Geeta Reddy tapped the clap board while yester year heroine Jamuna switched on the camera.
Later while speaking Geeta Reddy said, “It’s not an easy task to make a 3 hour film on Satyasai Baba. I hope the makers will succeed in doing so without hurting the feelings of his devotees.”
Director Kodi Ramakrishna said, “We are going to portray Satyasai Baba’s miracles and his love in this film. This movie will create an impression to the viewers that Baba is still alive. Cricketers Sachin and Gavaskar will also be seen in this film. The shooting will be held in Puttaparthy, White Field in Bangalore, Kodaikanal and other locations.
Haribabu and Rambabu are the joint producers while Chegondi Hariramajogayya is the presenter. Vandemataram Srinivas will compose the music. Story is provided by Rajendrakumar.
