Telugu films might not be receiving the national awards, but interestingly there is always a demand for Telugu films in Bollywood. Yes, as we are aware Bollywood always show keen interest to remake more Telugu films than the films from other languages. Recently, Salman Khan bagged two hits in the form of ‘Wanted’ (Pokiri) and ‘Ready’. While ‘It’s My Life’, the Hindi remake of ‘Bommarillu’ is already on the sets, ‘Arundhati’ is also going to be remade very soon.
Now yet another film which is to be remade in Hindi is Deva Katta’s critically acclaimed film ‘Prasthanam’ which bagged many awards and rewards. As per the Bollywood’s latest reports, in the Hindi remake of ‘Prasthanam’, the roles of Sharwanand and Saikumar will be essayed by Ajay Devgan and Prakash Raj. Interestingly, Ajay and Prakash shared screen together in the recently released ‘Singham’. While this has been confirmed, search is still going on for the role that was originally played by Sudeep Kishan. The Hindi version will be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
