Nikhil’s next movie is 'Disco' which has completed 50% of shooting. His ‘Veedu Theda’, directed by Chinni Krishna under Lakshmi Narasimha Entertainments banner was recently released. So as part of promotion to the film,
Nikhil spoke to the media about his film. Here are some excerpts:
We have increased the number of prints since there was good response from everywhere. Any film will get publicity through mouth talk. The entire credit of success goes to director Chinni Krishna. None of solo films in the past have collected as much as ‘Veedu Theda’. Suresh Productions is supporting us for Nizam area. The collections are good everywhere. You all know the range of success of ‘Happy Days’ through word of publicity. The same is helping for this film as well. Many are appreciating the film in twitter also. They also liked my dances. The industry’s bigwigs also appreciated the film. The producers trusted me and produced this film with the budget costing above my market level.”
Further speaking he said, “I played the role of Katti Sreenu in ‘Veedu Theda’. The dialogue ‘Dhummu reputhaadu’ has become quite popular. The entire film makes the audience burst out laughter without a break. Some even opined that my performance in some scenes reminded them of Ravi Teja. I grew up watching Ravi Teja’s films right from ‘Idiot’. So I feel happy that has influenced my acting. I have due respects for him for growing up as a star through his hard work.”
He concluded saying that his next film is ‘Disco’ that has completed 50% of shooting. This movie is being directed by Hari Krishna, the student of Puri Jagannath. This is also a full-fledged entertainment film.
