So far the shooting of Ram’s upcoming film ‘Ongole Gitta’ has been progressing without the selection of heroine. Although earlier the producers considered Shubha Phutela as leading lady and then Nikhita Rhea, the latest reports confirm that they have signed in Kriti Kharbanda as heroine opposite Ram.
Kriti Kharbanda was seen in films like ‘Boni’, ‘Ala Modalaindi’ (guest role), ‘Teen Maar’ and ‘Mr Nookayya’.
Bommarillu Bhaskar is directing this movie. The shooting started off in Guntur and progressed for about one and half months in the same location. Some important scenes and action sequences were shot on a market yard set in Guntur. The 2nd schedule has begun in Tanuku today where Kriti will join the unit for shooting her part. ‘Ongole Gitta’ is produced by BVSN Prasad with music by G V Prakash Kumar.
