‘Athadu Aame O Scooter’ starring Vennela Kishore in male lead role and debut heroine Priyanka Chabra in female lead role is being directed by a debut director Ganga Rao Lakshman. Amarendra Reddy is producing the film on Pyramid Creations banner with music by Chinni Krishna. The unit completed the first shooting schedule and presently busy in the 2nd shooting schedule. A press meet was organised today to brief the film’s details.
Vennela Kishore said, “I was little scared when I was chosen as hero for this film since I’m comfortable doing the comedy roles. However, I was impressed with the comedy part when the director narrated the story to me. Thagubotu Ramesh sang a wonderful song in this film. His comedy is even more excellent. I hope the audience will watch and enjoy our film.”
Director Lakshman said, “8 years of experience of working as assistant and associate director has helped me to turn director for this film. I thank my producers for trusting me and the story provided by Jagadish Chandra. We decided on Vennela Kishore as hero soon after the script was ready. Since the hero’s character has comedy traits, he agreed to do this film. We are very happy with his performance. The 2nd schedule is currently progressing which will complete by 3rd week. We are planning to launch the audio during Dussera. This movie is sure to make the audience burst out laughter for 2 ½ hours.”
Producer Amarendra Reddy said, “I’m producing this movie since I liked the story a lot. We will complete the film by November and release the audio on the same month. The film will be released in December. I thank my director for crafting the film excellently.”
