Malayalam kutty Nitya Menon, who was successful with two straight films, ‘Ala Modalaindi’ and ‘Ishq’, will now appear on screen with yet another dubbed film from her mother-tongue. Titled ‘Vellatooval’ the film was originally directed in Malayalam by IV Sashi. An industrialist turned producer T Sudhakar has purchased the Telugu dubbing rights of the film recently and planning to release it some time during this month only. Going by her popularity, the producer even selected the title as ‘Nithya’ for the Telugu version.
In a press meet held at Hyderabad producer T Sudhakar said, “Vellathooval’ broke Malayalam box-office records. Hence we are bringing this film to the Telugu audience in dubbed form. We are confident that the movie will generate interest among the Telugu audience.” Sagar, T Prasanna Kumar, Samraat, Ashok Kumar, Kala Rajesh, Rajendra Prasad, Ramesh Noothalapati and other unit members also participated in the press meet.
Along with Nithya Menon, other star cast in the film is Ranjith Menon, Seeta, Sitara, Vijaya Raghavan, Ambika Mohan, Ganesh, Kalabhavan and Shajaan.
