‘Band Balu’ is the story of a guy who plays drums in TV programmes and marriages. The concept of the film is his that his life will take a new turn due to a TV programme just like the caption ‘Oka Idea Jeevitaanne Marchestundi’. How and what is that which changed his life forms the rest of the story. Kamalakar plays the title role ‘Band Balu’ while Kamna Jetmalani plays his love interest. The film is being produced by Kamalakar Reddy with Chintalapudi Venkat as director. Shooting has been completed and post production work is at progress.
According to hero Kamalakar, ‘Band Balu’ is a complete 2 ½ hours entertainer that has all required commercial elements in it. He claims that this movie will be a turning point of his film career. Chinna music is the biggest asset. Audio will be release in May, he says. Chandra Mohan, Giri Babu, M S Narayana, Dharmavarapu Subrahmaniam, Benerjee, Annapurna and Ragini are playing supporting roles. K Prasad handled the camera and editing is being done by Nandamuri Hari. Praveen Chandra is the executive producer.
