Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra’s one of most anticipated movies of 2013, ‘Saahasam’ release has been postponed once more, this time to July 12th. The delay this time isn’t due to a need to complete post production works but is due to unavailability of required number of quality theaters. Apart from Gopichand, Taapsee and Chandrasekhar Yeleti, ‘Saahasam’ is a crucial movie for producer BVSN Prasad as well, since he saw two big box-office failures (Devudu Chesina Manushulu and Ongole Gitta) after ‘Darling’. On the other hand his ‘Attharintiki Daaredhi’ is also gearing up for release on August 7th. So keeping that in mind, BVSN Prasad is making efforts to keep certain gap in the release of both his movies. All he really needs is good theaters to push ‘Saahasam’ into No. 1 slot for its opening weekend.
‘Saahasam’ is an action adventure which is directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti. A film in this genre is said to be coming out after several years in Telugu film industry. Gopichand, who created a niche for himself as an action hero has performed lot of risky action stunts in this film. He will be seen as an ATM Security Guard. This is his second film with director Chandrasekhar Yeleti (first movie Okkadunnadu) and also with Taapsee (their previous film was Mogudu). Major part of the film was shot in Ladak. ‘Saahasam’ will be out in theaters on July 12th.
Producer BVSN Prasad mentioned in a press note that he is releasing the movie worldwide on July 12th. According to him Sri's music is excellent and audio is already a super hit. Sri's re-recording plays vital role in the film. Post production works are still going on. 'Saahasam' is a different film with Chandrasekhar Yeleti's mark along with all commercial elements.
