Anushka and Arya starrer ‘Varna’, a magnum opus from director Sri Raghava has completed its censor formality recently and obtained clean ‘U’ certificate. The film is set for release worldwide on November 22nd in 1200 theaters. With music by Harris Jayaraj, Prasad V Potluri is producing this giant budget fantasy film on PVP Cinema banner with Param V Potluri as its presenter. Impressed with the output of the film, hero Arya bought the distribution rights of Malaysia and Singapore. Similarly the north India distribution rights were bagged by Fox Star Studios. This apart, Hindi remake rights were bought by Disney and UTV banners.
This Rs 60 crores extravaganza was shot in exotic locations of Georgia, Uttah, Uzbekistan and different parts of India. The re-recording was done in Budapest, where Hollywood films re-recording would take place. Hence this has taken ‘Varna’ to next level from technical point of view.
