Anushka-Arya starrer ‘Varna’ is hitting 1200 screens worldwide on November 22nd. Anushka is coming out with yet another magnum opus after her previous blockbuster movie ‘Arundathi’, which belongs to the same genre. On this occasion the ‘Varna’ unit release a press note appreciating Anushka’s work in the film.
In the press note it was mentioned: Anushka’s films are examples to describe her as an actress. However, ‘Varna’ will stand as an inspiration for her personality. Anushka essayed two different roles in ‘Varna’ – one as a warrior and the second as an innocent girl. She did both the characters with her soul and gave life to them. Anushka worked very hard physically as well as mentally for both the characters, especially for the role of a warrior. Major part of that character was shot in Georgia for about 90 days in a single schedule. Anushka participated in few key fights as part of shooting. The film unit could not provide even the basic facilities at abroad, to Anushka who is a star heroine. She surprised the film unit by sustaining the minus degree temperature without food and sleep in Georgia and did justice to her roles. Anushka, who is very reserved by nature mixed with the unit members in her own style and made everyone comfortable.”
After ‘Arundathi’, Aunshka is expected to show her acting skills in ‘Varna’.
