The coming year (2014) will certainly keep Naga Chaitanya busy with five films in a row. Chaitanya’s latest movie ‘Autonagar Surya’ which was left hanging for long is now reaching the finishing stage. As per the source, the film that also stars
Samantha and Rakul Preeth Singh will hit the big screen in December. Deva Katta is directing it after his critical acclaimed as well as award winning movie ‘Prasthanam’.
On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya also has a number of other film projects in the pipeline for the coming year.and one of those films is ‘Manam’ in which he is sharing his screen space with his dad Nagarjuna and grandpa Akkineni Nageswara Rao. The film is being shaped up briskly by ‘Ishq’ director Vikram Kumar on Annapurna Studios banner. This apart, it has been reported earlier about Naga Chaitanya’s forthcoming projects with director Srinivasa Reddy of ‘Dhamarukam’ fame, Vijay Kumar Konda of ‘Gunde Jaari Gallantaiyyinde’ fame, Sudhir Varma of ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ fame and a remake of Punjabi film ‘Singh V/s Kaur’.
Two of the above mentioned films are going to hit floors in December, the first being in the combination of director Srinivasa Reddy. Hansika has been cast opposite Naga Chaitanya in this film. Akula Shiva is providing the script. Initially Srinivasa Reddy was supposed to remake ‘Hello Brother’ with Chaitanya. But since that project did not materialize, he is going ahead with this new film. On the other hand, another film that is going on sets is a remake of Punjabi film ‘Singh V/s Kaur’. Dr D Ramanaidu is going to produce this movie on Suresh Productions banner. Meanwhile plans for films under direction of Sudhir Varma and Vijay Kumar Konda are taking place briskly. Both the directors are reportedly busy in penning interesting scripts for Chaitanya. So this way, 2014 is going to keep Naga Chaitanya busy through out the year.
