Super star Rajnikanth is attached to star in Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment’s ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ (Vikrama Simha) in January 2012. This big budget graphical extravaganza, on the backdrop of historical drama, is the directorial dubut of Rajnikanth’s younger daughter Soundarya R Ashwin. Although the filming got completed in February this year, the post production delays are keeping the project on the back burner. Producers announced several dates for release of the film in the past and their last announcement officially said that ‘Kochadaiiyan’ would hit theaters on January 10, 2014. But now, according to latest reports it’s been delayed once again. Well, the reason is nothing but the problems with the post productions are holding the release up. Producers are likely to announce the new release date in the audio launch function which is to be held on December 12th, the superstar’s birthday.
‘Kochadaiiyaan’ starring Rajnikanth, Deepika Padukone, R Sarath Kumar, Aadhi, Shobana, Rukmini Vijaykumar, Jackie Shroff and Nasser has music by AR Rahman and cinematography by Rajiv Menon.
