Filmmaker Ayodhya Kumar Krishnam Shetty is making a movie titled ‘Minugurulu’ by casting 40 blind children in the film. Other prominent star cast is Ashish Vidhyarthi,
Suhasini Maniratnam, Raghuveer Yadav and Deepak. International technicians worked for this 2 hr movie. Shooting has been completed. Audio will be released in Raavi Narayana Reddy Auditorium on 10th of this month. The film publicity started off differently saying ‘Cinema Theeyadaniki Kallu Avasarama?’ which eventually starting attracting the film buffs. Efforts are also being made to dub the film in Tamil and Hindi languages. The film was already screened to Central Minister Chiranjeevi, Sekhar Kammula, S Gopal Reddy and Basi Reddy and all of them have poured in appreciations for it.
The plot goes like this: A 14 year old named Raju will turn blind due to an accident. His irresponsible father will leave him at Blind Operation Home. Raju is passionate towards filmmaking but does not get any support from the orphanage. The remaining part of the story is how he gets a video camera with the support of his friends and make a documentary film.
