Leading actress in the south Anushka has played the title role in dynamic director Gunasekhar’s prestigious project ‘Rudramadevi’. The film is being made under the banner ‘Guna Team Works’ with Smt Ragini as presenter. The shooting of the India’s first historical stereoscopic 3D film has been completed.
Speaking on the occasion, director cum producer of the film Gunasekhar said, “While the historical research and story designing was started in the year 2002, pre-production works are started from February 2012. While the film had its muhurat at Thousand Pillars Temple in Warangal in February 2013, the entire shooting has been completed on September 4, 2014 at a huge set of 7 fort wall designed at Gopannapalli in Hyderabad.”
“This huge budget historic film has been made as one of the finest films that depict the Telugu ethnic history and courage. It’s a great thing that ‘Rudramadevi’ is the first Indian film made in stereoscopic 3D technology handled by Hollywood technicians. I’m sure this 3D technology film is going to be an international range visual wonder. I’m very happy that some exhibitors, who are extremely confident on the film, came forward to arrange their theaters to suit for 3D film. The film is going to be releasing in regular 2D process as well. I convey my hearty thanks to all artists, technicians and thousands of workers who have put in lot of efforts in the grandest yagnam of ‘Rudramadevi’ shooting. Post-production works are already commenced and we are making brisk progress to release the film in December,” he added.
