The shooting of the mythological film ‘Daana Veera Soora Karna’ is going on at a rapid pace. Chalasani Venkateswara Rao and J Balaraju are jointly producing the film starring all child artists under Sri Sai Jagapathi Pictures and Santhosh Productions banners. JVR is the director. We all know that late sri Nandamuri Janaki Ram’s son Master Taraka Ramarao is playing Lord Krishna and another son Soumitra is playing Sahadevudu.
On this occasion, director JVR said, “We have started shooting of ‘Daana Veera Soora Karna’ grandly with formal pooja on January 23, at Saradhi Studios. Since then, our entire team has been shooting without a break. All child artists are acting well beyond our expectations. It is beyond doubt that Master Taraka Ramarao will earn good name like his grandfather. Till now, some key scenes were filmed at a specially designed set in Saradhi Studios. The film was also shot in the surrounding areas of Hyderabad. Master Taraka Ramarao’s younger brother Soumitra is giving wonderful performance in the role Sahadevudu. The entire shoot of the film will complete by March 28. We are planning to complete post-production works in April and release the film on May 28, the auspicious occasion of Mahanatudu NTR’s birthday. So far, we have canned 3 songs and just 10 poems are remaining to be canned.”
One of the producers J Balaraju said, “After yesteryear ‘Bala Ramayanam’, children mythological film is coming after 18 years with the title ‘Daana Veera Soora Karna’. Hence, we are making the film keeping due care on script, sets and ornaments without compromising in terms of money. Director JVR is crafting each and every scene wonderfully. As said earlier, Master Taraka Ramarao’s acting skills will stand out as highlight for the film. Prominent and senior person in film industry is handling the production management work. It’s a great thing that many senior technicians who worked for yesteryear’s ‘Daana Veera Soora Karna’ are working for this film.”
Child artists Jayanth Sai, Yashwanth, Dilip Teja, Shyam Gopal, Karunya, Bhargavi, Yamini, Vijju, Abhiram, Chandan, Ganesh, Dinesh, Lohitha and some others are playing important roles in the film.
