‘Pitta Goda’ is the latest venture of the tasteful producer Rammohan P, who produced super hit films like ‘Ashta Chamma’, ‘Golkonda High School’ and ‘Uyyala Jampala’. This lean family entertainer ‘Pitta Goda’ that features Viswadev Rachakonda and Punarnavi as hero and heroine respectively and star producer D Suresh Babu as presenter, has recently completed censor formality and received clean ‘U’ certificate. The film is all set for release worldwide on December 24 as Christmas treat. Dinesh Kumar and Rammohan P are producing this interesting entertainer under Suresh Productions and Sunshine Cinemas banners with Anudeep KV as director.
On the eve of film’s release, producers arranged press meet and in the press meet, presenter D Suresh Babu said, “Creative producer Rammohan P has made ‘Pitta Goda’ with an amazing story and gripping screenplay and with new artists and by introducing new director with our support. Working with new artists is a risky job. With great passion on films, Rammohan is making films with new artists again and again. The story of the film revolves around four guys, who come to city for film opportunities. The aspiring guys have the dream to earn fame and to see their photos in the magazines. How the guys succeeded must be watched on the screen. The film also deals with the present black money and demonetisation issue. The film will be very thrilling. Anudeep has readied the script two years back. Luckily, the film matched with the present situation. The film is a clean family entertainer blended with comedy, romance and humour. You find no obscenity in the film. Viewers Will Relive Their Sweet Memories in their life. We have decided to release the film worldwide on December 24 as Christmas treat. I enjoyed the script a lot, but the film is much impressive than how Anudeep has narrated to me. When I was young, we used to play cricket at Somasundram Ground in Chennai. There we would enjoy seeing young girls by sitting on a wall. We just enjoyed by seeing, but we had not made any comments. I was a well-disciplined and down to earth guy. Pitta Goda’ is perfectly apt title to the story. Musi director Pranam Kamalakar has composed extraordinary tunes for the film. Even though, it’s a small film, he has given music in high range with live orchestra. His music will stand out as one of the big assets of the film.”
About his next project, he said, “I have dream to make a variety film in new genre. I am making an action oriented film under Teja’s direction with Rana as hero. The film’s shooting is going on. ‘Adhigo’ is also my venture with Ravi Babu. The film was done with shooting and presently CG work is in progress. We are planning to release the film ‘Adhigo’ for the next summer. We are also gearing up to produce a variety film with different subject in Chaitu and Rana combination. Script work is going on for another production venture to be directed by ‘Pelli Choopulu’ director Tarun Bhaskar. I have plans to remake ‘Prem Nagar’ in accordance with the present trend.”
