Maanas and Sanam Shetty starrer ‘Premikudu’ is ready for release on June 17. Lakshmi Narayana Reddy and Sunil Reddy have jointly produced the film under SS Cinemas banner with Kala Sundeep as director and Digi Poster as presenter.
On the eve of film’s release, hero Manas said, “As a child artist I did many films and also received Nandi Award in 2004. As a hero, I did ‘Green Signal’ and ‘Kai Raja Kai’. But, ‘Premikudu’ is introducing me as solo hero.”
About the film and his character in the film, he explained, “The story of the film revolves around hero, heroine and villain. I played Sri, a village guy, who comes to city in search of job. He meets a girl in the city and falls in love. How he resolves his problems and how he wins his love-makes the story of ‘Premikudu’.”
About the director and making of the film, he described, “I have good relationship with director kala Sundeep since 7 years. When I listened to the script, I felt it has gripping story. The film came out wonderfully. The film was shot in the surrounding areas of Hyderabad, Nellore and Bangalore and in some other beautiful locations. The film is releasing on June 17. I am hoping that audience will encourage us by making the film a big success.”
When asked about his next films he said, “Presently I am working for ‘Dill with Dhanalakshmi’ and I signed for a role, which has negative shades, for Krishna Vamsi garu’s ‘Nakshatram’.”
Manas, Sanam Shetty, Aziz, Shakalaka Shankar, Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao, Bhanu Chander, Anitha Chowdary, Sana, Sashank Babu and some others are part of the film.
