Pre-release event of romantic drama ‘Malli Raava’ was held in a grand level in Hyderabad on Sunday i.e. on December 3. The film has completed post-production works recently and it is all set to hit silver screens on December 8. With the blessings of Shri. Nakka Yadagiri Swamy Yadav, The film was directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and produced by Rahul Yadav Nakka under the banner Swadharm Entertainment with Sumanth and debut actress Akanksha Singh as hero and heroine respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, Akhil Akkineni said, “My Sumanth anna used to pamper me when I was kid. I wish ‘Malli Raava’ will stand out as a big hit film for Sumanth anna. Sravan’s music is very impressive. Akanksha looks beautiful. I wish all the best to the entire team.”
Hero Sumanth said, “Sravan has given excellent music. Akhil liked the songs wonderfully. Kids’ episode in the film is very impressive. I have done 22 films so far. ‘Malli Raava’ is in the lines of ‘Godavari’ and ‘Golconda High School’. We have wrapped up entire shoot in 30 days. Rahul has produced the film wonderfully. We have to learn some things from Rahul for our Annapurna Studios. Akanksha has given beautiful performance. Trailer is receiving very good response from audience. The film will offer ample comedy. Though we have not included the comedy elements in the trailer, it has reached audience well. Pain is not a viral emotion for Telugu audience. This is the honest film which I am doing after ‘Godavari’.”
Wishing all the best for the success of ‘Malli Raava’, Manchu Lakshmi said, “Akanksha is being introduced as heroine through ‘Malli Raava’. Telugu film industry will always be in forefront to encourage new talents. Sravan’s music is good. I am very much impressed by few words penned by KK. Going by the dialogues in the film, I doubt director might have gone for love marriage. I wish the film will become big success.”
On this occasion, Rakul Preet Singh said, “I love romantic love stories. Such films are very rare. I am confident that ‘Malli Raava’ will goes to that rare films’ category. I wish the film will become big hit.”
Addressing the gathering, music director Sravan said, “Gowtam is the main reason for the good outcome of songs. When I have given rough tunes to KrishnaKanth garu, he has penned wonderful lyrics. Krishna Kanh, Sai Krishna and I have released a private album with the title ‘Malli Raava’. We reunited through this film ‘Malli Raava’. Madhura Sridhar garu has encouraged us a lot. I am very happy that Sumanth garu has acted in the film.”
“It’s a very good story. I was very much impressed by the script narrated by Gowtham. Each and everyone in the team have kept their heart and soul for the good outcome of the film. It took 10 months for pre-production. I am thankful to Sumanth garu for his support.

Speaking on the occasion, director Gowtham said, “This is my first film. I have readied this script 2 years back. I have narrated the script to many producers, but no producer came forward as I am new director, they can’t believe in me. Finally, Rahul Yadav Nakka took up the project. Coming to the story, ‘Malli Raava’ is a love drama between Kathik and Anjali. The circumstances they have to face because of the surrounding people - makes the story of the film. Sathish garu’s camera work is excellent. We have completed the entire shoot in 30 days only because of Sathish garu. Sravan’s music will stand out as highlight for the film.”
