Senior actor Banerjee in the main role, 'Raktham is the film directed by National Award-winning director Rajesh Touchriver. Starring Sanju Sivram and Madhu Shalini (in a deglam avatar) in lead roles, the film tells the troubled stories of a group of naxals. Well-known character artiste Banjerjee has a key role, while Sana, Bindu, John Kottoly and Harish Chandra are playing other intense characters. Shot in Hyderabad and Karimnagar, 'Raktham' is presented by social activist and Padma Shri-winner Sunitha Krishnan. Banerjee’s performance has won appreciations from critics as well as from prominent people of the Telugu film industry. It is known to everyone that International Film Festival America Indie Gathering Foreign Drama Feature Segment has announced awards for 2017.
