The prequel to ‘Robo 2.0’, ‘Robo’ which delivered in the combination of Superstar Rajinikanth and Great Director Shankar was a magnificent success in all the languages that it was released and now there are huge expectations on the sequel ‘Robo 2.0’. The film is set to exceed all the expectations as the makers have left no stone unturned in its making. Lyca Productions is making the film with high-end technical values on par with Hollywood movies with huge budget in India cinemas. Akshay Kumar is playing the villain. Starring Rajinikanth in the lead role, ‘Robo 2.0’ will also feature Amy Jackson as the female lead. The film has completed the shooting part and currently post-production works are going on.
Briefing about the film’s details, Lyca Productions creative head Raju Mahalingam said, “The film has wrapped up the shooting part. VFX work is going on at present. We are leaving no stone unturned in its making to exceed all the expectations of audience. We are making the film with high-end technical values on par with Hollywood movies. As part of promotions, we are planning world tour. We have already released a video regarding this. We are making preparations to release the film worldwide in a grand level on January 25. First look and promo teaser will be unveiled for Diwali and the trailer will be revealed on Rajinikanth’s birthday. ‘Robo 2.0’ has music by AR Rahman. Audio will be launched in a grand level in the month of October in Dubai.”
