Hyderabadi girl Supriya Aysola, who played Chandrika role in Srinivas Avasarala’s adult comedy film ‘Babu Baga Busy’, was appreciated for her role. Talking about the film, the actress says the positive feedback about ‘Babu Baga Busy’ has thrilled her.
‘Babu Baga Busy’, the official remake of Hindi film ‘Hunterrr’, which is loaded with full dose of comedy, has arrived theaters on May 5. The film that features Avasarala Srinivas, Mishti Chakraborty, Tejaswi Madivada, Supriya Isola and Srimukhi, was produced by Abhishek Nama on Abhishek Pictures banner. Naveen Medaram has made his debut as director through this adult comedy film.
“I am Hyderabadi theatre artist. My first film is ‘Sasesham’. I still do stage shows. I have also acted in ‘Bhoo’ directed by ‘Sasesham’ director Sri Kishore. ‘Babu Baga Busy’ has got good response from audience. I am extremely happy with the response for such a different concept movie,” she says.
Talking about her role in the film, Supriya says, “I don’t want to restrict myself to one particular genre of films. I like to experiment. I haven’t watched the original version ‘Hunterrr’. We can’t copy the style. Director Naveen Medaram has wonderfully presented the bold character.”
About her co-star Avasarala Srinivas, the actress says, “Avasarala Srinivas garu is a nice co-star. He has brought freshness to his role with his own mannerism and style. He has good sense of humour. I would like to appreciate him for coming forward to do such a different concept film. One must need lot of guts to experiment on such a different character.”
“I choose my character only after observing the script, director’s vision and how he is projecting the character. I accepted to act in this not just because the character is bold, but I loved the way the character has designed. I am doing some mime shows. I am now learning classical dance,” she says.
