'Gem', starring young actor Vijay Raja in the lead, is directed by Susheela Subrahmanyam. Starring Raasi Singh and Nakshatra as heroines, the film's motion poster was released by actor Ravi Teja on Saturday. Also starring Sampoornesh Babu, Alok Jain and Ajay in key roles, the film is being produced by Pattikonda Kumar Swamy of Mahalakshmi Movie Makers. An action thriller, the film is gearing up for a release soon.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Raja, the son of Sivaji Raja, thanked Ravi Teja for releasing the motion poster. "We have worked hard on the film for two years. I Andrew's cinematography and Sunil Kashyap's music are top-notch," he added. The first look has the young actor in nude.
The director said that they have made the film with the best technical values. The producer hailed Vijay Raja's "involved acting". He said that Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao's editing has come out very well. Sivaji Raja thanked the producer for making a film with his son after dabbling in Tamil and Kannada film industries.
Satya Krishna, Raccha Ravi, Mirchi Hemanth, Charapathi Sekhar, Satti Pandu, Gabbar Singh Rajasekhar and others are part of the cast. Fights are by Real Satish.
