Nathuram Godse, the killer of Mahatma Gandhi, has been a controversial personality in the history of India. A Telugu revolving around him and his ideology is now being made.
Titled 'Marana Vaangmoolam', the film is based on historical accounts pertaining to the assassin. Produced by Sooraj Movies, the film is directed by Bharadwaj Rangavardhulu. Produced by Sooraj Kolli, it has Kathi Mahesh as the Executive Producer.
"Godse is a personality we rarely talk about openly. He murdered Gandhi not for personal reasons but for an ideology. He didn't regret his act. He was not just an assassin but also an editor and a journalist for years. What went into his thinking? What were his motives? Answers to these questions will be given by our film," the makers say.
