'Vadhu Katnam', starring Sri Harsha, Priya, Raghu, Kavitha, Aryan, Rekha, Kaushal, Anonya, Mani Chandana and others, is an upcoming movie directed by Bhargava Gottimukkala. Produced by Sheik Babu Saheb, the film is touted to be a family comedy. The film's ready-for-release poster was unveiled today.
Even in today's age, women are facing a lot of discrimination. Female infanticide is still rampant. With the number of women dwindling, there might come a day when 'vadhu katnam' may become commonplace. The film has a relevant message in this context. 'Save the girl child' is its message.
The censor board members have appreciated the makers for making a message-oriented film. UA certificate has been issued.
The producer hopes that the film will be watched by all sections of audiences in theaters as well as on OTT.
