There are rumours that Kangana Ranaut-Arvind Swamy starrer 'Thalaivi will head to OTT for a direct release.
Condemning the rumour, the 'Queen' actress ruled out a direct-to-streamer release of the biopoic. "The digital rights of our movie are with Amazon (Tamil version) and Netflix (Hindi version). Neither of them can individually stream the movie before theatres release, all the fake propaganda movie mafia doing please ignore," she wrote on Instagram.
The film was made in Tamil and will be dubbed into Telugu. The J Jayalalithaa biopic, written by K Vijayendra Prasad, also stars Poorna and Bhagyashree.
Directed by AL Vijay, it was to release on April 23. But it was postponed recently.
