Sonu Sood, who recently tested positive for Covid-19, has helped a critically ill Covid-19 patient. The multi-lingual actor has sponspored the airlifting of Bharti, a 25-year-old patient, from Nagpur to Hyderabad.
It's learned that the 'Acharya' actor sponspored the noble act to help Bharti get a special treatment done.
The patient had been taking treatment at Wockhardt Hospital, Nagpur. Upon doctors' advise, she had to be moved to a private hospital in Hyderabad. Sonu got it done at the earliest.
Sonu is also taking care of her ECMO treatment. “Doctors had said that the chances are 20% and asked me whether I still wanted to go ahead with it. I said yes. We hope for the best. She will recover and come back soon," the 'Dookudu' actor wrote.
This was probably the first case in Covid-19 when an air ambulance was used to airlift someone.
