Avika Gor of 'Uyyala Jampala' and 'Balika Vadhu' fame has made a sincere appeal to social media users. In her long Instagram post, the actress wrote that social media has become a channel through which people can be helped.
With thousands across the country appealing for medical oxygen, ICU beds and medicines on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, Avika said that every and anyone should use the platform to spread those messages. Even if you have 200 followers, one of them could save a life, she said.
The 'Cinema Chupistha Mama' actress also touched upon her personal story. "My family has gone through the battle, and it wasn't a pleasant feeling. It was scary. I'm glad they survived, but I wouldn't want anyone to go through it," Avika wrote.
She also drove home the point that double masking is the need of the hour.
