'Orey Bammardi' is an upcoming actioner starring Siddharth as a traffic cop. Music director and actor GV Prakash Kumar has another key role in this Sashi-directed movie. Also featuring Kashmira Paradesi and Lijomol Jose as the heroines, the film is produced by Ramesh P Pillai of Abhishek Films. The Telugu version is brought out by AN Balaji.
Sashi, who has previously done emotional movies such as 'Rojapoolu' and 'Bicchagadu', is counting on the film, which will be released in theatres on August 13. Speaking about the movie, Sashi said, "I don't do any film sans human emotions. 'Bicchagadu' brought out the importance of the son-mother relationship. In 'Orey Bammardi', the bava-bammardi relations will be highlighted. More than with my brother, I am close to my 'bammardi'. The idea of this movie was born many years ago. Every story has a journey of its own. When I narrated the script of the movie to Siddharth, I told him to play the bammardi. But he chose to play the bava character. The action scenes will be a highlight of our movie."
With music by Siddhu Kumar, the film has cinematography by Prasanna Kumar.
