'Street Light', starring Tanya Desai, Ankith Raj, Kavya Reddy and yesteryear hero Vinod Kumar, is written and directed by Viswa. Producer and distributor Sri Mamidala Srinivaas has produced it. The thriller will release in theatres in the second week of September.
Speaking about 'Street Light', the producer said that the film is a blend of crime, romance, love and family emotions. A message-oriented movie, it also deals with the theme of sexual perversion. Also a revenge drama, its characters are a mix of both victims and victimizers. To be released in Telugu and Hindi, the film has cinematography by Rawi Cumar Neerla.
"Although we received OTT offers, we decided to release the movie only in theatres in the interest of supporting livelihoods," the makers said.
Also featuring Chitram Sreenu, Dhan Raj, Shakalaka Shankar and others, its music is by Virinchi. Vishnu Sharma has written its story, dialogues and lyrics.
