"This month is going to be a feast for movie lovers and I promise you a great dessert," wrote Natural Star Nani, unveiling the trailer for his upcoming release. 'Shyam Singha Roy', directed by Rahul Sankrityan, will head to the theatres on December 24.
The trailer introduces us to the love track between a film director named Vasu (Nani) and a heroine (played by Krithi Shetty). Love develops between them before it is interrupted by Vasu's past life, in which he was a social reformer in the 1970s Bengal. In the flashback, Sai Pallavi is seen as a Devadasi.
Madonna Sebastian, Rahul Ravindran (seen as the titular character's friend), Murali Sharma, Abhinav Gomatam, Jisshusen Gupta, Leela Samson, and others have important roles. Producer Venkat S Boyanapalli of Niharika Entertainment has ensured lavish production values in the movie. Avinash Kolla's sets are grand, while Sanu John Varghese's cinematography is top-notch. The music is by Mickey J Meyer.
