'Kalakaar', starring Rohit of '6 Teens', 'Janaki Weds Sriram', 'Nenu Seethamalakshmi' and 'Nava Vasantham' fame, is a suspense thriller. Produced by Venkatareddy Jajapuram of AG And AG Entertainments, the film has Sayaji Shinde, Prudhviraj, Rajeev Kanakala, Shiva Shankar, Ravi Kale, Gagan, Karate Kalyani, Jayalalitha, Ashok Kumar and others in its cast. The film's shooting has come to an end.
Speaking about the movie, Rohit said, "This is the first time I have done a pure actioner. I have played a powerful cop in the movie. The output is really good."
The producer said that director Srinivas Bandela has given a thorough output. "We have got great support from artists and technicians," he added.
Explaining the title, the producer said that the film is about what happens to those failed artists and technicians who fail to make the cut in the film industry. Sayaji Shinde said, "I have played a lawyer in this one. This subject is really different," the artist added. Rajeev Kanakala said, "There are a number of senior artists in key roles in the movie."
