Lahari Music has received from YouTube India a coveted recognition. It has been given the Diamond Play Button now that it has got 11 million subscribers. "A BIG THANKS to our 11 MILLION+ SUBSCRIBERS and all the Producers, Directors, Music Directors, Singers, Lyricists & Actors who associated with us," the music label, which has released a number of chartbusters, today said.
The YouTube Diamond is a recognition that no South Indian music label has received in the past. It had crossed the 1 crore subscribers mark on YouTube in November last. Lahari Music has got 1.18 crore subscribers now. The label was founded 10 years ago and it continues to cater to music lovers in all major South Indian languages.
Speaking about the new YouTube recognition, Lahari Velu said, "I am very happy about the massive reach we have. I am dedicating the award to the people of Karnataka. The support they have given me over the past 45 years is invaluable. The Lahari group has grown from being a small entity into a huge company.
