'Rajput', starring Shankar Jadhav as the hero, features also Adhire Abhi as a hero. Siriraj and Karishma Ram are the heroines. The news is that its lyrical songs are out. After releasing its first look and teaser, the makers have unveiled its songs at the hands of R Narayana Murthy.
Speaking on the occasion, Murthy said, "The title is really good. The songs are nice. 'Ram Ram' reminded me of how 'Vande Mataram' united the country during the freedom struggle. I think 'Ram Ram' has the potential to unify the Banjaras. 'Gor Mati' is the title of the Banjara version of 'Rajput'. I hope this film becomes a unique one. We have to encourage this film for trying to propagate the Banjara culture."
Producer Suresh Kondeti said, "I hope Banjara movies get made in good numbers. I am happy for Adire Abhi, who has acted in the movie. We need Banjara films to release like the Malayalam movies in Telugu."
Adire Abhi said, "I wish that this film reaches the audience. Our Banjara people are spread across the States. This is not a casual film. It has got a lot of social values and has a message."
Shankar Jadhav, the director and one of the heroes of the film, said, "I have collaborated with producer Rekhya Nayak a number of times. We want to take the Bajana cinema to the next level with our movies. I got to work with a highly efficient team."
Jabardasth Pawan, Naveen, Jaki and others are part of the cast. Music is by Ghantadi Krishna. Cinematography is by Gopi Kotthooru and Venkat Kolluri.
