We know Nithiin has wrapped the shooting of his 30th film, Maestro. Now, the latest update is that Maestro is heading for a direct digital release instead of a traditional theatrical release.
As per reports, the OTT giant, Disney Plus Hotstar has acquired the complete rights of the Nithiin starrer for a massive Rs 40 Cr. The digital streaming giant will announce the release date of Maestro soon.
The film, directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, is the official Telugu remake of the Hindi blockbuster, Andhadhun. The Telugu version will have Tamannaah reprising Tabu's role and Nabha Natesh playing Radhika Apte's character. N Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy are bankrolling the film Shreshth Movies Banner.
Earlier, the makers announced that the film will arrive in theatres on June 11. However, the film would not be released on the big screens due to the resurgence of Covid-19.
