Santosh Shoban of 'Ek Mini Katha' fame will be doing a remake soon. He will play the male protagonist in a film to be produced by Sushmita Konidela. The daughter of Chiranjeevi will produce it as a small-budget outing for a theatrical release in late 2021.
'8 Thottakal' (Tamil) will be remade in Telugu with Shoban as the hero. The crime thriller will see Kollywood director Sri Ganesh as the helmer. Budding actress Gouri Kishan will feature as the female protagonist.
'Prem Kumar', an untitled project steered by director Maruthi, and a Nandini Reddy film are the other items on Shoban's filmography.
'Ek Mini Katha', his first hit since his debut many years back, is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
