'Narappa', which is a faithful remake of the Tamil-language film 'Asuran', has completed its Censor certification process. The Srikanth Addala directorial has received UA from the Board. Producers D Suresh Babu and Kalaipuli S Thanu are rumouredly planning to release it directly on Amazon Prime.
"We are happy with the output. The shades of Venkatesh's character will thrill the audience. Priyamani has played an authentic role," the makers said.
It's said that some changes have been made to the original. Satyanand, the senior writer, has worked as a script consultant.
'Care Of Kancharapalem' fame Karthik Ratnam, Rajeev Kanakala and Rao Ramesh have important roles in the movie. With music by Mani Sharma and cinematography by Shyam K Naidu, 'Narappa' has Sirivennela Seetharamasastry, Suddala Ashok Teja, Anantha Sriram, Krishna Kanth and Kasarla Shyam penning the lyrics.
