The movie titled 'Devineni' is being made based on the stories of Vijayawada's Vangaveeti Ranga and Devineni Nehru's real-life incidents. Helmed by Sivanagu this movie stars Nandamuri Tarakaratna as the main lead (Devineni Nehru). Suresh Kondeti has appeared in the role of Vangaveeti Ranga.

"There were many movies made on the same concept. But, this movie is to portray a different angle from the lives of Vangaveeti Ranga and Devineni Nehru", told Suresh Kondeti.

The producer also spoke on some important facts related to Vangaveeti Ranga, during his regime. He indicated that Vangaveeti Ranga had worked for the welfare of the people, irrespective of what community they belonged to. The movie Devineni is under making and will hit the screens soon.
