The story of Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the heroic NSG commando associated with the Mumbai 26/11 attacks, is going to be told in a breathtaking fashion by 'Major', starring Adivi Sesh as the hero. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the pan-India flick is all set to release in theatres on July 2.
The news is that its glimpse, released on Monday, has received all-around applause. "The video shows Adivi Sesh as Major in a shocking condition as the house is set on fire. He doesn’t give a reply to the officer who asks whether he’s there," the makers said, suggesting that the glimpse has been designed to indicate the tough job that the Major was tasked with during one of the deadliest terror attacks the world has ever witnessed.
Starring also Sobitha Dhulipala and Saiee M Manjrekar, the film's teaser will be out on March 28. Produced by Mahesh Babu’s G Mahesh Babu Entertainment in partnership with Sony Pictures and A+S Movies, the film has music by Sricharan Pakala.
