Adivi Sesh plays Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan in 'Major', a film based on the life of an NSG commando who fought the terrorists during the 26/11 attacks. Director Sashikiran Tikka of 'Evaru' fame has described his character as a selfless, brave and much-loved one.
The news is that the film's First Look was released today. "The intention of this film is to celebrate the life of Major Sandeep. The film depicts scenes that capture the spirit of the way he lived, not just the way he died," the makers said.
Mahesh Babu, who is one of the producers of the film, wrote, "Happy to present the first look of #Major!! Wishing you a very happy birthday @AdiviSesh. I'm sure Major will go down as one of your best performances. Good luck and happiness always!"
Talking about the progress of the shoot, the makers revealed that, so far, it has finished 70% of the shoot. The Summer 2021 release has been shot since August after a break of several months.
The Hindi-Telugu bilingual also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma.
