Actress Suja Varunee of Bigg Boss fame is known for South Indian films such as 'Kidaari', 'Iravukku Aayiram Kangal' and 'Kuttram 23'. With the Malayalam film 'Drishyam 2' now being remade in Telugu, she is hoping that the film will raise her popularity in Telugu as well.
“I have watched the first part of Drishyam in all languages and also the second part in Malayalam on OTT.. I was amazed at how the director was able to conceive such a script and was wondering why I didn't get such scripts to perform. It was a dream come true for me when I was approached to be part of the Telugu remake of the movie and that too for a reputed production house," Varunee said.
She is happy to be acting in a film starring stars like Venkatesh. The film will also have her sharing screen space with Meena and others. Varunee described Jeethu Joseph as a cool director.
The crime thriller, which went on the floors recently, will release in theatres later this year.
