It was on 25 May 2001 that Jr NTR debuted in movies. His first movie, titled 'Ninnu Choodalani', was directed by VR Prathap and produced by Ramoji Rao.
An interesting piece of news is that Tarak was paid just about Rs 4 lakh as remuneration for his debut movie. He was elated at the same. On receiving the remuneration, the budding actor took the blessings of his mother and gave the entire fee to her.
He would often get excited about his first earning, take the amount from his mother, count the currency and return it to her.
Twenty years later, the Nandamuri actor is doing three pan-India flicks ('RRR', NTR30 and NTR31) one after another. For each of these movies, he must be earning more than most of the big stars in the country!
