Nandamuri Balakrishna's movie with Mythri Movie Makers and first-ever outing with Gopichand Malineni was launched formally today in Hyderabad. The untitled project will be shot from January next year. Shruti Haasan is on board as well. The rest of the cast will be made official soon.
The makers revealed that the commercial entertainer is based on some true incidents. Nothing else is known about its backdrop and Balayya's character. As for the launch event today, two of Balayya's previous directors made it to the event: Boyapati Srinu and VV Vinayak. Harish Shankar, Koratala Siva, Bobby and Buchi Babu Sana were also conspicuous by their presence.
Dialogue-writer Sai Madhav Burra, who has previously worked with Balayya on 'Gautamiputra Satakarni', is on board.
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, the film has music and cinematography by S Thaman and Rishi Punjabi. Navin Nooli (Editor) and AS Prakash (production designer) are part of the crew. The action blocks will be done by the Ram-Lakshman duo.
