Legendary composer Ilaiyaraaja has launched a musical movie titled 'Music School'. Directed by Papa Rao Biyyala (who is debuting in Bollywood) the film was launched the other day. Sharman Joshi, Shriya Saran and actor-singer Shaan are on board.
To be shot in Goa from November 15, the entertainer will feature 12 songs composed by Hollywood choreographer Adam Murray and his associate Paul Saunders.
Talking about 'Music School', the makers said that its subject is about the pressure of the unimaginative education system on children, who have been reduced to crammers. Three songs from the Hollywood classic 'The Sound of Music' will be placed in the movie.
The director said that he has been fascinated by Broadway musicals. "Coming to my film, I think the storyline becomes stronger with music and dance choreography that propels the narrative," he added.
